Continuing education programs at Capri College in Iowa are an excellent opportunity for licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, massage therapists, and nail technicians. Besides meeting the required amount of continuing education hours for the state licensure laws, our programs teach new and advanced beauty skills and introduce professionals to services that they did not learn in their previous educational programs. Yes, we provide each individual who completes our continuing education courses with a certificate of completion, which can count as proof for State licensing continuing education requirements.
There are online courses available that are not affiliated with Capri College. You can take the State Law test to renew your Iowa Law certification.
Capri in Waterloo is absolutely amazing.I went to school there and they did amazing job I learned so much. I graduated and I still get my hair done there because there prices and the teachers and students do such amazing job every time.
I was a student at Capri and graduated last year. My instructors were all so supportive and kind and always there for us not just with school stuff but personal too. (The amount of times I cried in Surps office cuz I was having a bad day and she never ever made me feel bad for it and would let me sit there and talk to her until I felt better) Capri is not just about beauty, itβs about building lasting friendships and learning about yourself! The beauty industry is literally billions of dollars and we can ALL be successful and Capri helped show us that!!!
I graduated from Capri almost 2 years from the cosmetology program and Capri definitely set me up for success with all the knowledge my instructors had and passed down to me! If you are interested in going to cosmetology school I highly recommend Capri College in Waterloo

I madeΒ lifelongΒ friends and made so many great memories along the way. Some of my favorite classes were the special FX makeup, the straight razorΒ courseΒ and the facial massage class. I also loved being a Capri Camp counselor and getting toΒ teachΒ the kidsΒ about makeup.Β The scheduling of clients on the floor wasΒ a great wayΒ for me to become more sociable and comfortable with multitasking my work and getting to know the client.
Choosing Capri College was one of the best decisions I've ever made. From day one, I felt supported and encouraged to grow-not just as a stylist, but as a person. The instructors pushed me to believe in myself, refine my skills, and step outside of my comfort zone. I graduated feeling confident, prepared, and excited to start my career. Capri will always hold a special place in my heart.
Capri College has given me confidence in my ability that I will own forever.Β My favorite part of the program was the hands-on learning. The fast-paced nature of the program was challenging, but it has prepared me for my career as a Massage Therapist.
